Developmental Screenings: Use of checklists and screening tools to determine the need for further evaluation/testing in the areas of perceptual/fine motor skills, gross motor skills, muscle tone and strength, sensory integration, feeding and cognitive/play skills.
Developmental Evaluations: Use of formal, standardized evaluation tools to determine the need for further evaluation/testing in the areas of perceptual/fine motor skills, gross motor skills, muscle tone and strength, sensory integration, feeding and cognitive/play skills.
Ongoing Occupational Therapy Services: Services will be provided for your child as appropriate based on the results of developmental testing, clinical observations and judgment, and parent report.
Home, Daycare/Preschool and School Visits: Your child will receive Occupational Therapy services in their own natural environments; this model of service provision supports follow-through and carry-over outside the therapeutic environment, and efforts are made to teach your child's caregivers how to utilize effective therapeutic strategies.
